Perched on the edge of the Sonoran Desert with saguaros and mountain peaks filling every window, this house earns its place through sheer setting. The sunken living room – wall-to-wall glass, stone fireplace, views that stretch across the valley – is where mornings here begin and end. Outside, a heated pool sits within a natural desert landscape, the covered patio and second gated terrace giving you plenty of places to eat, linger, and watch the light change. A separate casita adds independence for some guests. Cave Creek's restaurants, Frontier Town, and the regional park are all within three and a half miles.

Home truths:
* The home is split into two distinct sections divided by the garage – the main living areas and three bedrooms on one side, and the casita with a fourth bedroom on the other. If your group is spread across both, you'll step outside to move between them.
* Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. Free private parking is included.
* Guests must be 25 years of age or older to rent this home.
* The swimming pool isn't fenced.
* This is a single-level home. It may suit guests with reduced mobility.
