Set on 11.5 private acres along the Wild Atlantic Way, Luxury Connemara Mansion is a 10,000 sq ft Edwardian country house less than 35 minutes from Galway City. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens for Bruce Ismay, Chairman of the White Star Line, the property combines historic character with generous accommodation for families and groups of up to 18 guests.

Bay windows and balconies frame panoramic views across Galway Bay, the Casla River and the Twelve Bens. The landscaped gardens, designed by renowned garden designer Gertrude Jekyll, run down to the water, where guests can swim and fish. Coral Strand and the village of Carraroe, with its traditional pubs, cafés and shops, are only minutes away. Rossaveal ferry port for trips to the Aran Islands is approximately five minutes away by car.

Dining and living spaces

The property offers three dining areas with seating for up to 30 people in total. The spacious kitchen has a table seating 10 guests, while the two separate dining rooms can accommodate up to 12 and 8 guests respectively. This flexible arrangement is ideal for family gatherings and larger groups.

The ground floor also includes a breakfast room, large reception room, drawing room, sun room, games room and guest cloakrooms.

Accommodation

The mansion has eight bedrooms:
- Four bedrooms with king-size beds
- One bedroom with a double bed
- Two family bedrooms, each with a double and a single bed
- One twin bedroom with two single beds

The property accommodates up to 18 guests and has six bathrooms, including four en suites and two bathrooms shared between bedroom pairs, together with additional guest toilets.
