Arrive through iron gates to a flint cottage on a quiet Brancaster lane, and it's immediately clear this is a place built for proper unwinding. Bi-fold doors open the living and dining area onto an east-facing garden – good for morning light and long alfresco evenings around the barbecue, with an outdoor shower and dog wash tap ready for post-beach rinses. A log burner keeps things warm when the North Norfolk wind picks up. The sandy beach is a fifteen-minute walk, Brancaster Staithe Harbour a forty-minute stroll, and the vast National Nature Reserve coastline stretches beyond – big skies and very little noise.
