Perched above the Costa Brava coastline near Cala Sant Francesc, this villa earns its place through sea views that stretch from the living room all the way to the main suite's private terrace. Outside, a secluded garden frames the pool with a real sense of escape, while the pergola-shaded terrace is made for long, unhurried lunches with the hillside as your backdrop. A wine cooler, barbecue area, and a welcome from the host team on arrival mean very little is left to arrange once you're here.

* Although the villa is walkable to the beach, the botanical garden, and Blanes town centre, a car is useful if you want to explore the wider Costa Brava coastline.
* You can park up to three cars on site, split between a closed garage and space within the plot – handy if you're arriving as a larger group with multiple vehicles.
* Air conditioning covers most of the villa, but two of the bedrooms rely on ceiling fans instead – worth bearing in mind if you're sensitive to heat on warmer nights.
* If you're travelling with a baby or toddler, your host can provide a high chair. It's worth asking in advance what else is available for little ones.
* One of the bedrooms has a single-over-double bunk bed that can sleep up to three people – we think it might be best suited to children.
