* There's no air conditioning here, so summer stays will rely on open windows and natural ventilation. If you're visiting in warmer months, it's worth packing accordingly and planning activities during the cooler parts of the day.
* Your host provides a starter set of essentials – soap, paper products, dish and laundry detergent, and similar basics – but once these run out, you'll need to pick up more yourself. For a group of twelve, it's worth stopping at a shop early in your stay to stock up.
* Big Sky Resort's base area is a fifteen-minute drive away, so you'll want a car if you're not relying on the free shuttle. The shuttle stop is a five-minute walk from the home, which makes it a convenient option for ski days.
