The living space is calm and well thought-out, with a kitchen that handles everything from a morning espresso to a proper sit-down meal. Outside, the Old Town's pedestrian streets put you immediately among the ramparts, the port, and the Provençal markets. Beaches are within walking distance, and the Antibes Art Museum – housed in a historic château above the Mediterranean – is close at hand too.

* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living space.
* The apartment sits in a pedestrian zone of the Old Town, which means no car access to the door. If you're driving to Antibes, you'll need to use one of the town's public car parks and walk your luggage in.
* The only bathroom here is an en-suite off the main bedroom – at full occupancy, privacy may be limited.
* You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
