Perched on the hills above the Conero Riviera, this early 20th-century villa sits within a Mediterranean garden of pine trees, terracotta terraces, and shaded alfresco dining spots – all looking out over the Adriatic. The pool is a natural gathering point, and the garden's panoramic tower takes those sea views even further. Inside, period details run deep – beamed ceilings, terracotta and parquet floors, arched doorways – while the kitchen opens directly onto the garden, keeping the outside close. A study and gym on the ground floor make longer stays easy.
Home truths:
* The swimming pool isn't fenced.
* The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. If you're visiting outside those dates, you won't have access to it.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. Make sure to request them before you arrive.
* The villa is spread across three floors connected by internal stairs, so you'll be moving between levels regularly during your stay.
* The fireplaces are ornamental and cannot be used.
