Oakdene Cottage is a part of Oakdene House, a large detached property built in the early 1970's, situated in the centre of the village of Chapel Stile, just a stones throw from the local village store and the Wainwrights Inn pub.
There's walking from the doorstep in all directions, you really don't need to use the car to explore the Langdale Valleys and the Lake District National Park if you don't want to. If you jump in the car you'll find Ambleside just 10 minutes away.
