Dappled Sea Light

Tucked inside the gated WaterSound Community along Florida's 30A corridor, this pine-shaded house is built for the kind of trip that works for everyone. A private boardwalk leads to the beach, where two chairs and an umbrella are set up each morning – a small touch that removes the usual faff. Back at the house, the courtyard's infinity-edge plunge pool and gas grill invite long afternoon hours, while the third-floor watch tower is the place to be at sunset. A detached carriage house adds breathing room for extended families, and a golf cart makes exploring the wider community effortless.

Home truths:
* The community's private beach is reachable via a short boardwalk walk, and your complimentary beach setup – two chairs and an umbrella – is available each morning between 1st March and 31st October.
* There's free parking for up to two cars on the driveway.
* The swimming pool isn't fenced.
* Two guests will sleep in the detached carriage house, which has its own seating area, washer and dryer, and private balcony.
* A lift serves all three floors, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility.
